It seems that I have come across some tragic news! According to expert space
scientists, the earth is going to be blown up by foreign alien invaders this
Friday at 1:25pm! I have been selected among a few others that coincidentally
are made up of my ENG 103 class to board the SS Clemson University Spaceship
and defend the Earth! The only thing in the way of earth's defense is Mrs. B
and her power to summon us for ENG 103. If class happened to be cancelled this Friday
not only would the earth be safe from harm but it would benefit many of us as
well.
Not
having class on Friday would mean I would be able to leave Clemson on Thursday afternoon
and say goodbye to my loved ones before I depart into battle which did I mention
was in space? My entire schedule on Friday has been depleted thanks to other
professors (whom apparently care about earth’s safety), But wicked Professor
Britenburg is the only one of my teachers scheduling a class. It makes me
wonder If Mrs. B may have some connection with the aliens and the world’s
destruction… Like if she planned it!!!
The
rest of the class would side with me on this argument because as much as we (sarcastically)
enjoy writing papers, blog posts, and other junk, we value our planet very
much. Once the aliens have been defeated, we can have the world’s greatest
Recharge and Relaxation session doing as we please and leaving us free time to
do whatever we want such as catch up on homework, enjoy our favorite
activities, or just sit around and do nothing. In conclusion, cancelling class
for this Friday would greatly benefit our lives both individually, and as a
whole, while living on a still existing planet.
