Tattoos are an individual’s way of expressing
themselves in a personal way that is also permanent. This tattoo in specific
shows how this person really likes Spiderman, and he likes it so much that he
got a permanent symbol of it. The tattoo on his chest makes it look like he is
actually Spiderman and after coming out of his skin he has a Spiderman suit on. The way that the artist made the tattoo made
it so the flesh actually looks as if it is ripping and tearing from his flesh. What this tattoo says to the world is that
this guy got this tattoo to show how much he cares for Spiderman. Also, since the location of the tattoo is
over his chest it shows how Spiderman is close to his heart and he cares for
Spiderman in some sort of special way.
The way that the artist pigmented the person’s skin around the edges of
the tattoo makes it look more realistic to the rest of the world. Maybe if this guy is lucky then somebody like
a little kid will believe that he really is Spiderman and idolize him, but
honestly this tattoo is pretty stupid because Spiderman doesn’t take his skin
off, he takes of his regular clothes then has his suit on. I think that the tattoo is a cool idea and
all, but it is also ridiculous because a grown man got a superhero tattoo all
over his chest. This man obviously has
issues pertaining to letting go of his childhood. In the end this tattoo is a way of an adult
trying to hold on to his childhood in a juvenile way that looks semi-cool, but under
closer inspection makes no sense and might as well be the biggest mistake of
this poor fellows life.
