The Meaning of Tattoos

I have seen many tattoos of this sort that people have.  Each person gets tattoos for different reasons. The bearer of this tattoo has chosen this particular work of art to display how he or she stays true to themself and always stands up for what they believe in. It means exactly what it says in that the person who has this tattoo is true to thine own self. This can communicate that this person does not care what others think of them and no matter what they will be who they want to be. It is also in a place that is very noticeable by others so it shows that this person is proud of who they are and is not afraid to show it. The bearer wants people to see this and know that they are truthful to themself. This signifies the integrity and honor that they have in themself. They stay true to themself and be who they want to be no matter what anyone thinks or says. This can also communicate the culture and ways in which they were raised. This person’s parents may have raised them with beliefs that they should be who they want to be. They may have grown up being true to themself and always believing that what they wanted to be would always be acceptable. By one simply seeing this tattoo many assumptions can occur. Many people think of tattoos as trashy and unprofessional but the truth to it is that many have hidden meanings that may not be thought of when first seen. One has to see by the ink and actually think of the true meaning that is portrayed with a tattoo. Not all tattoos are solely for looks. Many are actually to symbolize or represent something that is dear or close to their hearts. Tattoos can ultimately mean nothing at all or mean something very important to whom bears it. This is up to whoever gets it and what they want it to mean and say about themself.
